I’m Orhan Kütükoğlu, the founder of this company. Initially focused on trading V-belts, our journey has evolved with growing success and diverse customer demands. Today, we take pride in our state-of-the-art production facility, where we customize belts and provide tailored solutions. Our products enjoy global demand, and as a dedicated partner to our customers, we strive to address their most challenging needs and issues. Our greatest joy comes from ensuring customer satisfaction.
HISTORY
First Address
Orhan Kütükoğlu established Orhan Ticaret in 1979, dedicated to selling rubber V-belts. The business started in a modest 70 m2 workspace located at Bursa Uluyol No:16/B.
Mectrol Polyurethane Timing Belts
In 1995, a Turkish distributorship agreement was established with Mectrol, a prominent American manufacturer of polyurethane timing belts, aiming to enhance the diversity of the product range.
The First Polyurethane Timing Belt Insert System in Turkey
The initial polyurethane timing belt splicing system in Turkey was implemented with technology transfer from the Mectrol company.
Second Address – Second Generation
In pursuit of expanding product diversity and enhancing production capabilities, a new three floored facility was established at Bursa Uluyol No:9. Concurrently, Ebru Yıldırım joined the finance unit of the company, marking the beginning of the second generation's involvement.
Increased Production Capabilities
Orhan Ticaret pioneered rubber and polyurethane coating on polyurethane timing belts, precision hole drilling, profile applications, and machining operations in Turkey.
Gates Polyurethane Timing Belts Authorized Manufacturer and Third Address
Following the acquisition of Mectrol by another American belt giant, Gates, our production capabilities, and quality were recognized with the Gates Authorized Manufacturer certificate. With an expanding range of production and increased capacity, OSK relocated to NİLTİM, its third address at Yaylali Sokak No:10.
Special Applications
Pioneering the introduction of new technologies in Turkey, we implemented advanced methods adopted by only a few companies globally. Innovations such as Form Grinding, Pin-Joint/Screw-Joint Insertion Method, Mold/Apparatus Workshop, and Silicone coating were introduced for the first time in the country.
A Turkish Brand in Germany
To enhance our export potential and showcase our expanding product range, we participated in the Hannover MDA 2013 fair. Additionally, during the same year, we achieved a significant milestone by producing the first injection profile in Turkey.
From R&D to Production / Hannover IMDA 2015 Fair
Through our dedicated research and development efforts, we have pioneered a technology for silicone coating on wide belts—a capability possessed by only a select few globally. We introduced this unique technology to our country for the first time through our R&D initiatives. In parallel, we inaugurated the first CNC processing center in the same year. To bolster our growing export activities, we participated in the Hannover IMDA fair.
Hannover IMDA 2017 Fair / Area Expansion Works
At the Hannover IMDA 2017 fair in Germany, we showcased our latest CNC processed products and silicone-coated offerings to our international clientele. Accompanying our commitment to innovation, we expanded our production area by 30% through strategic investments in our manufacturing capabilities.
WIN Istanbul 2018 / Fourth Address – Factory / Hello Max Schlatterer Esband
During the Win Istanbul 2018 fair, we presented our growing product portfolio to our business partners. In order to accommodate new investments in our production capabilities, we relocated to our new factory with a closed area of 1400 m2. Additionally, we initiated a strategic partnership with Max Schlatterer Esband, the pioneer in endless carcass flat belts globally.
A Turkish Brand in America / Hello BanderBand / New Machines – New Products
At the Pack Expo 2019 in Las Vegas, the world's largest packaging fair, we showcased our latest developments. The introduction of our new brand, BanderBand, dedicated to general-purpose flat conveyors, marked a significant milestone. Additionally, we inaugurated several new production lines and machines, including a high-frequency welding machine, conveyor garment production line, automatic length cutting and winding machine, coating shooting line, CNC belt processing center, and printing line.
